The Journey began in 1995 in a makeshift shed in Chennai.

Three young textile chemistry graduates , first generation Entrepreneurs, fresh from College started a tiny washing unit called Jaihind Garments in Guindy Chennai.

A single set of machinery was taken on a Loan from a Chemical Supplier and had only one customer with 500 shirts per day. With sheer hard work and commitment the Business started to make a name for itself in Chennai.

  • In 1995
    The Journey began in 1995 in a makeshift shed in Chennai.
  • In 1997
    a Sick unit was taken over and started serving customers in Ambattur area in the name of Jaihind Textile Processors.
  • In 1998
    Jaihind Garments moved from Guindy to its Own premise in SIDCO Thirumudivakkam.
  • In 2005
    Marked an important milestone. Took over a Big facility at Magadi Road Bangalore. The existing companies merged and named Motherland Garments Private Limited.
  • In 2012
    Second Unit opened at KIADB Ind Area Kanakapura road, Harohalli & Peenya Bangalore
  • In 2016
    A new venture mdenim for alteration, refashion and customisation of Denims.
  • In 2020

    Third unit exclusive for denim washing at Peenya.

    Msquare ; Retail arm of Motherland Group opened in Magadi Road and Peenya.
